What is the Inclusion Leadership Program?

The Inclusion Leadership Program (ILP) is a year-long  program designed to equip participating students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become effective leaders in a more diversely inclusive society. The program is organized for experiential learning rather than standard teaching. The mission of the program is to provide a supportive environment through mentoring and programming to enrich the lives of our students.

What do students do?

ILP college scholars share their understanding of leadership with teams from select high schools within the Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Stillwater areas. They facilitate the development of leaders amongst high school students while guiding them through the college selection process. Through mentorship, college students not only impart wisdom onto their younger counterparts but challenge them to become effective leaders as well.

The pillar of ILP is the spring leadership conference. The conference is designed to provide attendees with the tools necessary to become successful both professionally and personally. ILP participants design, plan, and facilitate the leadership conference in its entirety, developing workshops geared toward high school juniors and seniors.
